The 360Bikers Convergence Ride

Posted in 360Bikers, Cool Video, Local Events, Motorcycles, Rides, Special Events on January 29th, 2009

This entry really should have been written by someone that rode the ride.  I, unfortunately, managed to get sick and miss one of the most exciting rides I’ve created.  Of course, the one thing that makes it great is the people, and there were lots of people.

On January 25th the 360Bikers had a convergence ride.  The ride was designed to give opportunity for any level 2 rider or better in our group to meet others in our group.  I was really four different rides from different geographical areas that members.  All the rides converged and gave everyone a chance to meet.

Well, even in a group our size it’s luck to get more than 20 people together on one ride.  This ride culminated with over 50 bikes and more than 70 people.  I have heard more nice things about this event than any that I’ve planned so far.

Below is a slide presentation of over 150 of the photos submitted from the ride.

January 10, 2008 – 360Bikers held a bonfire get-together at Terri’s tonight.  I have to thank Terri for holding this part from the anniversary event that I could not attend in December.  She did a fantastic job with perfect planning at every point.  We had a great fire to keep us warm in the moderate tempertures at night.  A full wolf moon lit the sky and had everyone looking at it.

It was great seeing so many members ride up to Jupiter Farms for this event.  It was well worth the ride to hang out with everyone and enjoy great food.  We had hot dogs, chili, lots of fancy fixings, brownies and the ingredients to makings smores over the camp fire.

Later, old Christmas trees were added to the fire to make it a roaring bonfire that lit up the night and made lots of warmth for the group.  Van was there with Bo (the motorcycling dog) and a pet snake for everyone to see.

I have to thank Terri for holding this part of the anniversary party off. The bonfire was great, but the getting together with friends was unmatched. Terri coordinated a great event and the food was fantastic.

We had lots of food including hotdogs, chili, brownies and even the making for smores.  We enjoyed a full wolf moon and moderate temperatures that made the fire even more inviting as the night wore on. Van even brough Bo in the side car and entertained with his striped snake.

I hope this can become a regular event as everyone had fun and lots of riders attended.  Click the link to look at the rides and events calendar for the 360Bikers in Sout
