Customization: Wheels
Well, it’s been an exciting week or so since Leesburg. Don’t ever assume that your personal life will not interfere with getting your blog updated. My youngest daughter had actually left town without letting anyone know specific plans and is now at the University of Michigan taking NROTC courses. Life changes in seconds. She said it’s beautiful and she is seeing lots of bikes.
Now, let’s get back to customizing your motorcycle. There are so many parts of the motorcycle that can cost a lot of money so you have to look for what will give you the flash you want for the cash you have. Today, wheels are one of those more expensive investments, but they can show off your bike in a big way. Something I am not going to get into is the brake rotors and calipers. You will find that some of these companies make complete sets to keep the flow of the custom theme you are working. Some do not. Sometimes you want to mix and match. It’s a personal decision I’m not going to address. Do some looking around and remember to keep the big picture in mind when you look at wheels or complete systems.

Xtreme Machine has some designs for you to consider. Remember, these are manufacturers. These are the people that actually make the wheels you will put on your bike, not just sell them to you. Always check out the manufacturer and validate their credibility. You’re on the Internet now so take advantage of searches and forums to learn more about these fantastic wheels. I understand protecting your image rights, but sometimes security bites you in the ass as you lose opportunities for bikers like us to see their products. Ie recommend you do a thorough search on wheels. Like I said, these are not inexpensive and they make a great statement on your bike.
